Jimmie Allen is an American country music singer and songwriter. He gained prominence after signing with Broken Bow RecordsStoney Creek imprint, releasing his debut album "Mercury Lane" in 2018. The album featured the hit singles "Best Shot" and "Make Me Want To", both of which topped the country music charts, making him the first Black artist to achieve back-to-back No.1's on country radio with his debut. Allen has received numerous accolades, including the CMA New Artist of the Year award in 2021 and a Grammy nomination for Best New Artist, becoming the first male country artist to be nominated in that category. 

 

Born on June 18, 1985, in Milton, Delaware, Allen's musical journey began with a love for performing, including singing and playing various instruments in his church choir. He further honed his skills through participation in high school plays and later moved to Nashville in 2007 to pursue his country music career. After facing initial challenges, including living in his car, Allen's persistence paid off when he was discovered at a writer's round in Franklin, Tennessee, and signed to Wide Open Music.

 

Allen's music blends traditional country with elements of R&B and pop, creating a unique and modern sound. He has collaborated with various artists, including Noah Cyrus,Brad Paisley, and Darius Rucker. His dedication to his craft and his genuine connection with fans have solidified his place as a prominent figure in contemporary country music. 

 

 

 

The name "The Great Escape" has been used by multiple bands. One is a stoner rock band from Germany, formed in 1999, known for supporting Los Natas and later evolving into the instrumental psych band My Sleeping Karma. Another is a Journey tribute band formed in Hudson, MA, in 2008, recognized for its note-for-note accuracy in performing Journey's music. A third is a Venice-based indie band with a unique approach to song craft and a series of "Music Powered Short Films".

 

 

Red Solo Cup was formed after the passing of Legendary country singer Toby Keith on February 5, 2024, after a long battle with cancer, when some country musicians were asked to perform a tribute concert at Toby’s former bar at Gillette Stadium: “Toby Keith’s I Love this Bar and Grill”.

 

The show was a huge success, and the band discovered James Hewitt, a Toby look- alike and sound-alike. His vocal performance that day was stunningly similar to the late great singer. The band received a standing ovations and was urged to perform again as a tribute band. Red Solo Cup – a Tribute to Toby Keith was formed. The band now performs most of Toby's catalogue including (20) #1 hit country songs including smash hits: "Shoulda Been a Cowboy", "How Do You Like Me Now", “Who's Your Daddy" the patrons "Courtesy of the Red White & Blue" and "American Soldier" and many more. The band recently starred at the Indian Ranch Local Country Music festival, stunning the audience with its spot on replication of this Nameless music. The band also made its first 2025 appearance at Sam Slaters in Webster Mass, and sold out the 300 seat venue in 1 week.

 

The Red Solo Cup Band is comprised of (6) professional musicians and singers, all hailing from the state of Massachusetts The band has many years of professional experience particularly in the Country Music Genre. Members have performed at major venues such as Gillette Stadium, the Xfinity Center, House of Blues, Atlantic City and Meadow-brook, and have opened shows for the likes of Alan Jackson, Reba McKintyre and Toby Keith! Several band members have also performed at a show with Crystal Keith, Toby’s Daughter, and country singer.
